OF CINEMATOGRAPHIC FORMS - DOCUMENTARIES, FEATURE FILMS,
ANIMATION - IN THE MODERN UKRAINIAN CITY OF KYIV.
Unfortunately, our film festival has suspended its active activities due to the full-scale russian military invasion of Ukraine. But the film festival team continues to organize and conduct charitable cultural and educational projects for Ukrainian children and youth, where they teach how to create films of various genres.

KIDS MOVIE FEST
is run by International Children's Film Festival the purpose of which is the development
of the art of cinema, education and training in documentary and afeature filmmakings
among the young generation of Ukraine and the world.

RULES AND CONDITIONS
- The festival team invites young, independent directors or groups of students from film schools and studios to the competition.
- The age of the authors of the films (directors / producers) must be from 8 to 18 years.
- Entrants can submit films that have been created from 2018 to the present day.
- The length of the competitive film should not exceed 15 minutes.
- The film must be uploaded to the Internet on a file exchange and send a link.
- Format type for showing the film at the film festival: FULL HD.
- Language of the film: original. Films in the language of the invaders (Russian) are not accepted.
- Language of subtitles: Ukrainian or English.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted every year until September 1.
CATEGORIES and NOMINATIONS
The FOURTH film festival, which was held on the eve of the war, was successfully held on October 30-31, 2021. It was the FOURTH International Children's Film Festival Kids Movie Fest, which took place in the conditions of lockdown (coronavirus epidemic) in the Kyiv Cinema House. There were international guests at the festival, really interesting films, professional workshops and lectures, creative meetings with the stars of the film industry. The main phenomenon of the festival was the translation into sign language of everything that happened at all sections of the film festival. Kids Movie Fest 2021 was held with the support of the STATE CINEMA AGENCY OF UKRAINE. The uniqueness of the 2021 film festival is that it is inclusive. the program included a large section of films by young deaf directors from all over Ukraine.

We understand how children love gifts and praise.
Because of this, our film festival has as many as 26 nominations.
26 young directors, actors and producers from different countries and cities received:

The film festival has many friends in the film industry and film art. These are Ukrainian film companies, film studios, film productions and just good people who are concerned about the future of Ukrainian cinema.
